A+ is one of Ontario’s best small business success stories. By creating a synergy among ambitious students and professional workers, they are dedicated to revolutionizing the home maintenance industry.
Project included: branding, art direction, website design, social media, digital assets, vehicle wrap, flyers, promo cards, icons, uniforms, copywriting, business cards, photography, lawn signs, banners and more.
Tropic Love is a concessions booth that serves fresh pineapple, watermelon, and coconut water smoothies in the original fruit shell. They are present at many festivals across the greater Toronto area, and also cater private events.
Their brand aims to share health and happiness with the world and allowing their customers to get some TLC via natural, healthy products.

The project included brand identity, booth design, signage, menus, backdrops, uniforms, business cards, deck and website design.
Roca is a personal project - a design concept for the branding of an indoor rock climing and bouldering place.
Joining forces with Studio Amarelo, we repositioned the Tire and Rubber Association of Canada’s (TRAC) consumer program - Be Tire Smart. The project involved content strategy, producing/filming a video, full rebranding, sharable content, booth materials and the new consumer-portal website called fuelsavingtires.ca, just to name a few.
Mom vs Matchmaker is a reality tv series filmed in Toronto by Go Button Media, and airing on Myx TV. The show needed a logo that conveyed contrast, but also a commonality, which is love. Cupid's Arrow both divides and unites the words. It also needed to work well in motion.
The Unbearable Lightness of Being is one of my favourite books. I just had to choose it for a book cover design class on SKILLSHARE, taught by Chip Kid. The project got ranked #1 in the class, based on peer votes. To see the complete and very detailed thought and design process of how this cover came into being, please visit my project page. It was a super fun project and a design I am most proud of, as I got to be very hands-on with it, incorporating my own photography into the final result.
Lovistics refers to the discovery, planning, and implementation of one's unique "love brand". Natalia Juarez is a passionate love coach who helps people with dating strategy and breakup recovery from an integrated well-being and personal growth angle. She needed an elegant and simple logo that conveyed her integrated approach. I chose the colours royal blue and gold to give it a luxurious yet approachable feel that will appeal to both men and women. I also designed other brand assets such as social media and web images and graphics, and selected and edited stock photography for a cohesive look across digital platforms and print collateral.
It’s a really nice feeling when a client returns to you after you’ve successfully branded their first business (Lush Brush). Melissa Noelle is a wonderful and cool hair&makeup stylist based in Toronto and Arrowbow is her newest establishment - a mobile hair & makeup company helping you aim high in luxurious, eco-friendly style. With this logo I tried to blend feminine and edgy to arrive at an elegant solution using the iconic capital A to convey the name. The arrow motif is used throughout her branding collateral, as well as the clean colour combination of light blue, light grey and white. The logo also works really well in all white on a light blue background as an option.
Daniel Badre is a Ottawa-based lawyer specialized in personal injury cases. He needed a logo that was elegant, classy, and trustworthy.
FILMARTIST is a filmmaking platform specializing in creative videos that blend artistry, design and film technique to tell stories from an original point of view. Its values are creativity, attention to detail, cinematic composition and a little bit of playful experimentation. The branding had to convey the artistic flare of the company and reflect their values both online and in print. One of the ideas behind it is also the complementary natures of the two creatives - Paris and myself, which is a theme that's explored on our Instagram page.
LushBrush is an eco-friendly hair and make-up business run by Kathleen Parker (and formally co-run by Melissa Noelle of Arrowbow). They wanted a look that combined feminine with edgy. The sharpness of the font balances out the softness of the feather, which could be used separately on brand collateral as an additional branding symbol.
PropertyTek is the only contractor you’ll ever need. They offer year-round maintenance, management and construction for residential, condominiums and commercial properties.
This company's brand needed a look that conveyed reliability, but also needed to feel approachable. Hence, dark blue was chosen as the background colour, which allowed the bright blue, green, orange and yellow accent colours to pop, adding a splash of energy to highlights.
An extensive set of icons was designed to showcase the company’s services, as well as flyers, uniforms, business cards, web/social media assets and other marketing collateral.
Doula Pantry is a start-up company developed by Stefana Prodea and Maria Robertson, that sells milk-enhancing organic cookies (and other snacks) for breastfeeding moms. For their brand, I had the opportunity to design the logo, product packaging, web graphics, icons, sales booth materials, and apparel. The brand needed a smart but also friendly look.
EpiExpert's goal is to prepare individuals and organizations to properly respond to allergic emergencies via their Allergy Crisis Management System, which includes comprehensive training and providing allergy crisis kits containing stock epinephrine auto-injectors. When re-designing their branding, I opted for a vibrant red and white palette. Red is a call-to-action colour which in this case also symbolizes life. The logo integrates the capital letter E and the tip of an epi pen into a seamless, recognizable symbol. These two elements were then also used individually in other brand collateral.
Q-Drum is an existing business for which, as part of an OCAD U branding class taught by Frederick Burbach, I created a whole new brand look and approach. I wanted the brand to have a clean, elegant, fluid look which reflected the brand's personality, focus, and goals.
A fellow graphic designer gave me the opportunity to designing the logo and business cards for Limey Household Services. I chose a look that was clean, elegant, fresh, and a little earthy/organic, since they also do gardening services. The challenge was to have the logo illustrate house cleaning and gardening under the same roof. I enjoyed integrating the typography with the illustrative elements, and the leafs can be used as a secondary motif for future branding assets.
One of my favourite short stories is "A Day's Wait" by Earnest Hemingway. My goal with this project was to use type placement and manipulation, as well as a strategic mix with other graphic elements and photography to lead the reader through the story in a non-traditional way. The design of each page reflects the mood and topic of the paragraphs it encompasses and thus creates a more engaging experience.
